Having chosen the Baymont as our venue for a recent corporate retreat, I must say that the experience was a mixed bag. the hotel's location, near Mohegan Sun, was its standout feature, making it convenient for our group attending an event there. the proximity to a shopping center was also handy for any last-minute needs. However, the property itself left much to be desired. the rooms were in dire need of a complete upgrade, with peeling paint and noticeable wear and tear. the hot tub being cordoned off and the dimly lit gym were particularly off-putting. On the plus side, the hotel did offer useful business amenities like complimentary wired internet access and a 24-hour business center for remote work. the restaurant being accessible to residents would have been a nice addition, enhancing the overall experience for business guests. In conclusion, the Baymont has potential but requires significant improvements to cater effectively to business travelers. With a refresh and enhanced facilities, it could become a haven for corporate stays.
